classic rock music lyrics
Can you identify this classic rock song?
I was in the weight room of my school, and it was being played on loud speakers, but because weights were clacking and banging around, I was not able to hear the lyrics. It is a classic rock song. sounded 70s era, maybe eighties. The only part I ever heard went something like this. It went:
“I wanna tell you!” or “I wanna touch you!” or ” I wanna hold you!”
(was not able to clearly hear it even then)
Or something that rhymed with that. These lyrics only occured once or twice, and towards the end of the song. While these lyrics were being said, the music in the background of the song (guitar, drums) cuts off, just for a split second as they are said.
I may be wrong about a couple things, I only heard the song about 3 times. Can anyone help? I already tried multiple lyric combinations on Google, and I listened to the station’s music player that streamed live on their website, but the song did not come up.
