blues music online
An error message and a blue screen – when I listen to Windows Media music samples online. Why?
This does not always happen, but it does sometimes. I do not know the exact error message, but I do recall that it tells me to press any key to resume, or Alternate-Control-Delete to restart.
Do music programmes really use up that much of a computer’s resources?
I have I Gig of RAM, so it can’t be a RAM limitation, right?
Could it be an overheated CPU, then? My CPU is a Celeron 1.9GHz chip.
Note: I use Windows 98SE. I use my PC mainly for music. I have also disabled all the MS Config startup items.
Detailed answers shall be appreciated.
Just a stab in the dark: Have you updated your media player, or tried other versions? If you have the error code, it is pretty easy to go online with microsoft and get an answer. I would try updating the OS to this century.
