All Music, All The Time

Does anyone like music from the 1920s and 1930s? 1940s?

I found a CD in a museum shop that had 1920s and 30s music. I really like some of the songs, especially The Andrew Sisters “Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen” from the 30s, and “Do Do Do” by Gertrude Lawrence, as well as “My Blue Heaven” by Gene Austin. I try to expand my musical horizons.

I love the music of that time. Even when I was a kid, I loved it. IMO people who can only relate to the music and culture of their time have very narrow horizons indeed. I love the Andrews Sisters, Mills Brothers, Al Jolson, Eddie Cantor, Jimmy Durante, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin. Good stuff.
