What would rock music sound like without bass guitar?
I’m definitely no expert in music, so maybe this is a dumb question! But anyway, I listen to a lot of rock music and I have trouble hearing the bass lines, it seems that the guitar riffs and drums pretty much dominate most of the time. Is the bass just very subtle, where you don’t notice it, except if its missing?
Without bass guitars = no bass solos.
No bass solos = boring.
