Which software is best to make rocking music and which is free?
I want to make music and want a software which has all the instruments like drums electronic drums, piano etc
First, keep in mind that you get what you pay for. If you want an awesome music workstation for free, you are going to be terribly disappointed.
The only legally free software I can think of is Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net).
However, if you are willing to exand your budget to $75 US, there is an AMAZING music workstation that includes a ton of synths, samplers, drums, a mixing section, and a mastering section… all in one handy package. The software is called Orion Platinum and is available for demo and purchase at http://www.synapse-audio.com. The demo version of Orion Platinum does not allow for saving or rendering projects into anything usable.
