My dad took away my CD’s because he thinks rock music is sinful?
I’m 17 and today I returned home from work to find that almost all of my CD’s were gone. I listen to mostly rock music like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Nirvana, Muse, RHCP, etc. and my dad hates it all and thinks it’s the devil’s music, so he took it away. I argued with him for hours but he won’t give me my CD’s back. I’m so mad! Does he have the right to do that? What should I do??
Unfortunately he has the right to since you probably live under his roof, but if you have a Ipod or something that YOU bought yourself than i don’t think he would have the right to take it away since You bought it, but Rock is not sinful, im pretty sure God won’t send you to hell for it, there are way worse sins than listening to harmless music. even if it was a sin (WHICH IT IS NOT) God is a very forgiving God, so it’ll be okay, So you should buy yourself something like a Mp3 player or something, and Once you’re 18, you’re Free
