Will Atlant be the center of the next big musical movement?
Every musical movement has had a center or a place of origin that is universally agreed upon; such as grunge = Seattle. I moved here to Atlanta about a year ago and am delighted at the amount of music that comes through and/or is born here, everything from hip-hop to indie rock. There are some great bands that are getting international exposure such as The Black Lips and Snowden. My question is: Have you noticed anything out of Atlanta? If so, What was it, and do you think that its worth exploring?

Another question, Don’t you think that its about time for something big and great to come? In my personal opinion, the mainstream is not really taking in a lot of original stuff anymore, its starting to all become repetative.
Atlanta has been a music magnet for 10 years, where ya been? It might even be cooling down a bit.
