All Music, All The Time

 

Although Aerosmith hasn’t had a hit single crack the top 40 Billboard since 2001, Aerosmith tickets are still some of the most desirable concert tickets in the world. The band is still touring, and although the members of the band are old enough to have seen plenty of America’s other prominent rock bands breakout, breakup, reunite, and breakup again, they can still put out a great live show that anybody would love to experience.

The fact is, if you go to a bar that serves beer for less than three dollars tonight and spend less than ten dollars total before leaving, you’re going to get to hear something by Aerosmith. That’s meant as a compliment. It would be an insult if I were to say the same thing about, say, Fallout Boy. Aerosmith’s songs last the test of time for being both catchy and classic. Everybody ought to recognize a number of their hits, including “Dude Looks Like a Lady,†“Dream On,†“Walk this Way,†and “Janie’s Got a Gun.†In fact, you’re probably humming “Janie’s Got a Gun†right now simply by reading the song title.

Though various members of Aerosmith have changed over the years, one member remains constant, Steven Tyler’s lips. Tyler is probably one of the most important and recognizable front men in rock history, along with Mick Jagger, John Lennon, Axl Rose, Dave Grohl, Jim Morrison, and a short list of others. In charades, one must only pout one’s lips and grip a microphone with both hands to do an accurate and speedy impression of Steven Tyler. Brightly colored bandanas would help as well. One of the most exposed lips of the past fifty years, Tyler’s have been caricatured and referenced perhaps more so than those of Angelina Jolie, Fat Albert, and Mona Lisa combined. In rock music, only Tommy Lee gets more credit for a more substantial body part, but a game of charades would take a turn for the worse if his name was involved. Aerosmith tickets will give fans a first hand look at one of the most successful lips in recorded history.

Aerosmith has gone through many phases as a band. From extreme popularity to the brink of drug-addicted implosion, Aerosmith has conquered much and still has a lot left to give the world of rock and roll. Aerosmith tickets probably won’t be around much longer, so jump at any chance to see this band.
