The title / artist of the Spanish/Flamenco-type guitar/horns instrumental hit of the 1960s or early 1970s? ?
It’s NOT Herb Alpert. I’ve heard it used as ending music for some Top 40-list radio shows, like Rock, Roll and Remember ( in the 1980s ). There was an extra DJ, besides Dick Clark who hosted. He never named the song, but used it as an outro.Or maybe his show followed that one. The song was also used by a car dealer on KNTV Channel 11 in the San Francisco Bay Area in the early 1970s, for his late-movie show. His name was Jay Brown. He’d read mail from fans in Vacaville Prison. The song was used as transition and theme song for his local show. I could hum it for you, in full! But my googling is coming up empty.
Could it be Manuel and his music of the Mountains? He/they had a couple of hits around that time.
