halloween party music HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

im hosting a halloween party and forgot to make a playlist of music so what are some really good songs
preferably rock or pop or something you can dance too
and this is a highschool party so i dont need jonas brothers or miley cyrus

For a halloween party, I love starting off with about 20 minutes of Halloween music and then sprinkling in “halloweeny” music throughout. Some suggestions for Halloween music are Ghostbusters, Monster Mash, Werewolves of London, Thriller, Zombie Nation (the song by Kernkraft 400 that’s played at almost every sporting event), Don’t fear the Reaper, Addams Groove (yeah, MC Hammer, but still fun), Somebody’s watching me (Rockwell), or Manson’s Sweet Dreams. To put together a complete playlist is hard (that’s why DJ’s don’t come in with a preplanned playlist, it changes). It really depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for rock and pop, I would suggest sticking with 80s rock and 90s and early 200s pop. I find these are the most danceable without being too childish or too much rap.

For 80s, try Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Joan Jett, Tommy Tutone, Outfield, and Rick Springfield. If it’s the right party, throw a Rick Astley song in and “Rick Roll” the party.

For dance music, Madonna, Prince, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, and Salt N Pepa are staples.

Hope this helps.
