rock music composers
what would old composers think of rock and heavy metal music?
like beetoven and mozart? they wouldn’t recongnize the instruments, because guitars were the peasants instrument back then, and they didn’t have computer editing techology, and rock is loud, rebellious, agsty music. some of the smarter ones who reflected these qualities in their symphonies might, but still, those who lived around 1850 and such, like bach and them?
they could also probably sit down and learn a punk rock song, say green day or black flag’s in one sitting and write it all out.
rock is all about rebellion. i think they were too. just less rage and more page, as i like to say. that is, pages in a music book instead of yelling from memory
I think they would know good music when they hear it.
