rock music classification
Does anyone know any good 80′s and 50′s band?
I’m looking for some good 80′s and 50′s bands. I beleive that some of the “classifications” per se, were Doo Whop, Malt Shop, and stuff like that. Some example bands are:
Men Without Hats
Joan Jett
Rick Springfield
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and stuff like that
I really like this kind of music. Kind of Retro, if you know what I mean (if I used it correctly)
Also, can anyone tell me if Malt Shop is some of the 80′s rock, or am I wrong on that?
Im not familiar with the 50s but I love the 80s. Ill give ya some names of some 80s bands. Night Ranger(they sing that song sister christian), the fixx, boston, bad company,def leppard, a-ha, saigon kick, tesla, lita ford, the bangles, belinda carlisle, tiffany, martika, mazzy star, skid row, warrant, winger, billy idol, alice cooper, bryan adams, whitesnake, richard marx, suzanne vega, poison, heart, megadeth, fleetwood mac, emma bunton, cinderella, the cars, kansas, reo speedwagon, paula abdul, bon jovi, the eagles, damn yankees, john mellencamp, kiss. Thats all I can think of right now. Im not sure if “Malt Shop”is part of the 80s, but there is this place online called www.pure80spop.co.uk. or just google it, im sure u can find 80s bands there.Also there is this site called azlyrics.com. Just type in the lyrics or title or band to a song and it will pull it up. Have fun.
