Rock Music-one componet of a decaying moral ethos.?
In the beginning rock music was something you listened to, danced to, to have a good time. These days the music is just one more corupting influence on society. It condones every sexual vice, drug abuse, violence, hopelessness, suicide on and on. And dont say i dont know what im talking about ive been studying music and lyrics for years. Like anything you cant blame all the worlds problems on an entertainment medium. But it goes hand in hand with many of the problems these losers sing about. It always interesting how these artist are always so screwed up with drugs, violence, mental health issues, abuse of woman, occult fetishs. Ya theres some good groups out there but not many.
i hope youre not talking about all versions of rock, like indie and alternative and others. the songs i listen to dont sound like anything you describe. you should give some examples of songs that sound immoral. instead of worrying about rock, you should focus more on hip hop and rap, which is liike 10 times worse. that has drugs, violence and demoralizes women.
