Do you know, or can you recommend any young/modern blues artists?
Ive got a small but much loved / listened to amount of blues in my music collection. Although I’m in no way knowledgeable as I tend to stick to old favourites who have huge amounts of work to plunge into, so I need some pointers.
Recently bought the new release by Otis Taylor and LOVE it so went to see what else was out there….. seems to be a total absence of youth?
Prove me wrong! Any recommendations?
The North Mississippi Allstars and their offshoot group, Hill Country Revue. Good modern Delta style blues with fabulous lead guitar.
