What is the best party music that is original and not overplayed?
I am throwing a pool party in two weeks. What are some good artists/songs to add to my playlist?
So far I am happy with playing fun, ambient,electronica (‘Theivery Corporation) or east coast jazz hip hop like ‘A Tribe Called Quest’ and ‘Digable Planets’. I am also open to indie-rock, latin-hip hop, reggae, ska, some punk rock (only party friendly punk rock), dance, etc…
(Please only cool, and party appropriate music. no metal, no mainstream pop, no classic rock, no country)
