why you feel (or don’t feel) that Hip-Hop music and culture is bad for African American youth

bullets, or sentences would be nice, just to see how youth feel?

1. It’s basically up to the kid(s) and their parent(s), just as any other musical culture/fad. If a parent/guardian lets their kid sag, that’s them even though it gives a very bad message. Nowadays kids conform to fads just to be in the groups, and originality is looked down upon. But some things are taken out of proportion whereas kids join gangs, rob, steal, among other things. Some believe that every lyric is true. Trust me, when I was in middle school, mostly EVERYONE was listening to Lil Wayne and wanted to be like him. So they ran with gangs, sold drugs, shoplifted and stole.

2. It’s also a matter that music can influence a person’s actions, not cause it. Music can inspire a person to do something, but not cause it.

3. Not all Rap & Hip-Hop is bad/negative. Trust me. Even though most stuff that gets radio play now sucks rappers like Nas, Common and others speak the truth in more ways than one.

That explain things well enough? I hope so.
