Anyone else happy about the death of popular gangsta rap and southern hip hop?
It seems the only top-charters for a while have been dance and electropop music. I’ve even the noticed the hip hop bands switch over to electro/electronic music.
House and techno seem to be gaining ground here, as well.
This’ll be interesting to watch…
When one trend is over in the mainstream an equally worthless and annoying one will take its place before you know.
Hip hop has really been around since the late 80′s in mainstream so I wouldn’t kiss it goodbye just yet.
