How do you download music from other countries?
To clarify, I mean legally. I’m a big fan of UK rock and indie, but I live in the US and that puts a crimp in my plans. The most popular songs are available, but you’re SOL if you’re looking for b-sides and other rare tracks. iTunes won’t let you change your country settings without a local billing address so that doesn’t work, nor will going through UK-based mp3 sites.
I’m perfectly willing to pay for the music, so why can’t I download it?
I highly suggest not using Limewire. It’s not the best Peer to Peer (P2P) network out there. It’s full of virus’s and spyware, and they filter some files so you won’t get what you want.
I really suggest using WinMX. It’s community run, has no fake files or virus’s, it’s completely spyware free, easy to use and tons of files.
It even blocks the RIAA/MPAA off the network so you won’t even get caught!
