Any Romanians can tell me about Romania?

I’m doing a project for school on Romania, and I’d like to know pretty much everything about the country, like the culture, music, foods, sayings, the economy, etc.

I am originally from Romania and, although I mostly grew up in the U.S., my family is still very very close to our Romanian heritage. Romania is big on old folk culture, traditional foods, ‘musica populara’, etc. Also there are many gypsies in Romania, and their culture can be very different from regular Romanians. It would literally take me DAYS to answer all your questions so I included some websites you should check out. Hope they help!
