hop hop clubs/bars in Oceanside, CA?
Im new to California just moved to Oceanside and was wondering if you know of any hip hop bars/clubs in oceanside that a lot of hispanics go to (not mexicans I dont speak spanish or listen to mexican music). All I have found so far are country or rock bars and San Diego is too far to drive to just go out. So im mainly looking for something in Oceanside or very close to Oceanside.

Well, there are SLIM pickings in Oceanside for hip hop. SLIM. Not even joking.
You would think that the Corps population would have inspired a club like this, but alas, that is not so.
There is one that I went to one night. My spouse retired after 20 years in 2007, so I hope this one is still open.
- Basically, take 101 away from Pendleton’s Del Mar gate.
- Follow the 1 down for about 2 miles, give or take.
- At a traffic light (sorry don’t remember streets), there will be a Rite Aid across the intersection on your right.
- Make the right turn.
- There is a seafood restaurant a block or two from Rite Aid. It will be on your left.
- That seafood restaurant turns to a hip hop club on Friday & Saturday.
That’s right, a seafood restaurant. The bar area leads into a dance area & club-type side rooms. It’s weird, but it is indeed a hip hop club.
One more thing: There is NEVER a club in San Diego city or county that does not have Mexican revelers. That is a part of the country where the partying is always multi-racial. Don’t be disappointed by the crowd. The demographic mix will change 10 times in an hour.
