Difference in rock and country electric guitar soloing?

I have either played rock or acoustic for all my years of playing. I really want to learn to solo like a country player just because I live in the south and I figure if I throw in some country licks in the music I write for my band will get us a little more attention in the community than if we just come out and say “We’re a punk rock band” and play nonstop rock, which hardly anyone around here likes. I can’t learn to solo from tabs, so is there a certain difference in scales rock and country use, or does it involve the same scales and you just play it a little slower and slide more or what? Thanks.

Country players use a lot of double-stops and may even go so far as using a bluesy constant vibrato. Unlike rock solos, country solos don’t tend to be very high-pitched and played far up the neck.
