I’m looking for the name of a movie,It’s a musical/drama A girl from small town goes to a music academy
This movie has some similarities to Raise Your Voice. The girl is completely out of place being from a smalll town where she was the “Dairy Princess” (she won the contest,country singer) Her and her mom leave town to drop her off at this school and drive away sing Britney Spears songs. They get there and she’s out of place does not know anything about classical music or how to read music. She does’nt know they got evicted from there home. Her mom stays in town getting a job at the local school hang out and stays in the dorm room with her and her roomate (who happens to remind me of a younger Brittney Murphy) She works really hard through the movie to learn and ends up pulling off this dance number at the end that is part opera, then rock. It’s a really cool dance/sing number . The acttress who plays her mom is the only one who I think is known well in the movie everybody else is fairly unknown. One of the teachers who helps her I think is a real singer pop/country I think. HELP
