Do you think they should play popular music in Mass? ?
Well some countries do it. I would love to hear a bit of Finnish Metal myself at Mass. But I don’t think it would take on here.
What do you think? We could play a few songs by the script.

Some Bands and musicians do play in churches as it stands for concerts.
Yep exactly. As long as it had no cursing and a bit of depth to it, I do not see the problem. Oh in Ireland they stopped giving sermons about the darker aspects of life. Some people are so blinded. They think by ignoring evil, it will simply go away. Heavy sigh.
New music would express people’s feeling more and they would be able to relate to it.
The lead singer of Linkin park singing that song Numb in a church or Gearard Way singing Helena. I am sure people would go to Mass then. Of course those songs would not be socially acceptable for Mass. Socially acceptable, yuk, yuk, yuk.
I totally think they should play some modern popular music at mass, can’t see it happening though, I don’t get mass now anyway, I’m gay so I’m going to hell anyway 
What really annoys me though is that they wont let any non hymn be played at a funeral, regardless of ones last wishes. My friend died suddenly two weeks ago (he was 28) and his favourite song was Champagne supernova by Oasis, The priest wouldn’t allow this so we had to play it at the graveside. When my aunt died last year we weren’t allowed to play her favourite song (we’ll meet again) at the chapel, she knew she was dying and that was one of her final wishes, she was a devout catholic all her life and she didn’t even get her fav song played in the church she was christened, confirmed and married in, makes me sick tbh.
