What do you think of the Billboard Hot 100?
I think that the Billboard tends to only care about the instrumental and not so much on the lyrics.
If songs like “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” can be the #1 single in the United States, then lyrics aren’t important to them… right?
but what do you guys think of lyrical music vs. the music they play on the billboard hot 100? (whether its hip hop, country, pop, rock… or whatever)
I’m pretty sure the billboard hot 100 just uses feedback from radio stations and probably iTunes/album sales to determine the position of songs. I am not sure if they are the people that actually rate music quality, although I could be wrong.
