Should I get an acoustic guitar or an electric acoustic?
I’m a beginning guitar student and I want to play country music… Should I get an electric acoustic guitar or an acoustic guitar? What’s the difference?
Acoustic guitar is just the wood guitar. An acoustic electric has an input jack that lets you plug into an acoustic amplifier. I personally recommend a normal acoustic, because you are a beginner and usually acoustic electrics cost more. They aren’t THAT much better than a normal acoustic (if they are better at all …) and the only real advantage is that you can edit your tone settings on the amp to change the sound of your guitar.
