I hate my best friend, she copies EVERYTHING!?
She does! With a fucking passion! From how I sit, to my accent, to what I like and dislike. Eg.
I love rock music and all of a sudden, she starts downloading all the tracks I mention on her Ipod.
I love watching True Blood and fancy nearly all the actors, and all of a sudden, she starts watching it. And falling MADLY in love with all of men.
I love Harry potter, all of a sudden, she starts reading the books, buying the dvds, and ALL the childish shit like the train model…etc.
I love Twilight and the 2 men in it, all of a sudden, so does she.
I can seriously go on for hours. But you get the idea.
I can take her copying me, but the thing is – when she does. I start to LOATHE the things I love. Because she loves them.

When people are young they don’t always have their own I identity and so get strongly influenced by others and I guess may directly copy which is what is happening here. Take it as a compliment I would. though it is a little weird that she is copying you as much as she is. Maybe just mention it to her that you have noticed without getting annoyed and then she may stop after all to copy someone directly means she is not being her own person. Truth be told if she is not being true to herself in time she will stop doing it I would say as she will feel uncomfortable in who she is trying to be plus other will pick up on it even if they don’t say anything to her.
When I was younger I was infuenced by my friends identities alot and looking back now although I didn’t directly copy one of my friends I did get influenced by her style at the time. Now I am alot older I have very much my own identity and although I sometimes have cross over tastes in music and sometimes the odd item of clothing its purely co-insidence that I have a simliar taste to them. Im very much my own person.
