country music tours nashville
Looking for stuff to do in Nashville, sight seeing tours and country danc clubs, anything… Any suggestions?
We are booking a trip to nashville in August and just wanted to know what people would recommend go see. We look sight seeing and also love country music. the best thing for us would be going country dancing. Does anyone know of any good places?
Wild Horse Saloon in downtown Nashville for dancing. I don’t live in Nashville, but my daughter and son-in-law live outside of Nashville. See a preformance of the Grand Ole Opry, you can purchase tickets on line. Go on a Saturday, that’s when they record the show for television and radio. You can go up to the stage and take pictures of the performers. Go to Rhyman Auditorium (or original Grand Ole Opry). See the Bell Meade plantation. President Andrew Jackson’s home is nearby and well worth the trip. Nashville has a small zoo. Travel a little bit towards Clarksville and see the territory of the Bell Witch…inspiration of the movie “An American Haunting”. There are a many things to do in Nashville and close to Nashville. Enjoy your trip.
