Roger Clemens’ personal life is taking hits like he never saw while on the pitcher’s mound. The latest media bomb comes while he’s awaiting the outcome of a defamtion suit he filed against former clubhouse boy Brian McNamara: It’s been revealed that he had a 10-year affair with former country singer Mindy McCready while he was a 28-year-old married up-and-coming superstar for Boston and she was a 15-year-old up-and-coming country music tart.
According to Rusty Hardin, Clemens’ geriatric attorney, McCready is “friend” of the Clemens family. A good friend, it would appear.
So, it is possible to defame someone who is morally-bankrupt?
He can add statuatory rape to his list of sins that he says he has never committed.
