The sales tax in Michele’s state is 5.5%. How much sales tax will she have to pay on a stereo system that sells for $649? Round off the answer to two decimal places.
1) Devide 6 Hip-hop Cds with the 25 CD’s (all together)
6/25 = 0.24 = 24%
2) 51% = 0.51
Multiply 0.51 with 8,239 = 4202
3) 187 / 1247 = 0.1499 = 15%
